Ineta Ziemele is the Judge at the Court of Justice of the EU since October 2020. Before that she was the Member of the Constitutional Court of Latvia and its President. Judge Ziemele has also served on the European Court f Human Rights where she presided the Chamber of the Court. Since 2001 she is Professor of International Law and Human Rights as well as one of the editors-in-chief of the Baltic Yearbook of International Law. Author and editor of several books and many articles.
